Sirens of Audio: Carole Ann Ford

The original Doctor Who companion – Carole Ann Ford – will be appearing in Melbourne on Sunday October 19th – her first visit to Australia!

She played Susan, the Doctor’s granddaughter, from the very first episode of the show in 1963. She travelled in the Ship with William Hartnell’s First Doctor alongside two of Susan’s schoolteachers, Barbara (Jacqueline Hill) and Ian (William Russell).

She has since returned as Susan in The Five Doctors, for Big Finish and in a few other surprise appearances!
