DWCV Meeting

Our meetings are family-friendly events, with activities for all ages. Everyone is welcome at our meetings, both members and non-members alike. We offer a non-discriminatory, all-inclusive environment and are accepting of fans of all kinds (you don’t have to be a long-time or super-fan, some of us are recent or casual fans). Families and kids are also welcome, as we have an activities area for the kids.

Our meetings are held in three rooms as follows:

—The Atrium: This is the large room you will enter when you come along to a meeting. We use this as a general meeting space, with lots of areas for people to relax and chat, seller’s tables (please contact us if you are interested in selling at a meeting), and our Kids Corner with many activities for our younger members, such as colouring, crafts and face painting.
—The Theatre Room: This is where we hold most of our panels. Our panels range from informative panels, discussion panels, comedy panels, or games and trivia that members can participate in.
—The Long Room: This is our screenings room. Here we screen anything from classic and new-series episodes, documentaries, hard-to-find gems, or fan-created content such as videos.

There is a small cost to attend meetings (to cover venue hire, public liability insurance and tea/coffee), however we do offer a gold-coin donation entry for first-time attendees, and members receive discounted entry.
